what is MPN Cancer?

MPN Cancer or Myeloproliferative neoplasms (MPNs) are set of rare blood cancers that begin with an abnormal mutation (change) in a stem cell of the bone marrow. Thus, the mutation leads to an overproduction of white cells, red cells and/or platelets.  There are three types of MPNs – Essential Thrombocythemia, Polycythemia Vera, and Myelofibrosis. We’re Proud to have sponsored Awareness month in georgia

In 2022, Governor Brian P. Kemp of Georgia publically announced Myeloproliferative Neoplasm Cancer awareness month for September.  We are very proud to have helped sponsor this proclamation.  We encourage those who suffer with horrible disease and their loved ones, to sponsor a gubanatorial proclamation in their own state.
