Media Use & Attribution Policy
The Verniero Commission engages with a wide range of scholarly, journalistic, and educational media, including peer-reviewed research, books, interviews, podcasts, and public lectures. Our goal is to analyze, contextualize, and critically examine ideas across perspectives while respecting intellectual property rights.
We rely primarily on peer-reviewed scientific literature. However, when referencing books, podcasts, or video content, we do so for the purpose of commentary, critique, education, or research analysis. Any quoted material is limited in scope and used within the principles of fair use under U.S. copyright law.
When excerpts are included from audio or video content, they are presented in limited portions and accompanied by analysis, evaluation, or contextual discussion. We do not publish full transcripts or reproduce entire works without permission. Where possible, we provide direct links to original sources to encourage readers to engage with the full content in its intended format.
All external content remains the intellectual property of its original creators. If a rights holder believes material has been used improperly, we welcome communication and will promptly review and address any concerns.
Our intent is educational, analytical, and research-driven. We aim to foster informed discussion while respecting the creative and scholarly work of others.
